Waterfowl, shorebirds, swallows and blackbirds.

I just thought you might enjoy some evening wetland birds.


See Mr. mallard looking at us?

The first time I've been able to capture (a picture of course) a swallow perching!

A short-billed dowitcher.

Look at all that red on this blackbird!

And finally, wigeon.

Thanks for sharing your photos. I always enjoy your blog. I went up to Grey's Harbor on Saturday with an Audubon trip and the annual shorebird migration was in full swing. You should make the trek some time...it's a LONG drive, but a great experience. I didn't take the "big" camera, but took the little one and I'll post any photos that are notable.
