Pine Siskin update!

Well, when we got home from getting suet from the Backyard Bird Shop we got an update on the Pine Siskin from the Audubon Society.
They said that he is eating and active, but his wing is broken.

So that's good that he is doing well and staying healthy!

I guess that we will just have to wait and see how it turns out for him, and if he will be able to be released back into the wild.

Good luck little Siskin!!

I'm sure he's in good hands and will heal quickly.

:O)

Thanks for the plug and the update. I'm glad you took him there.

Any Varied Thrush yet? I bet you see some over the next week or so. It's supposed to get cold!

Awwww, thanks for the update; I hope the little thing makes it. Is that likely? Surely it will get rest, but is it likely to heal, I wonder.

How cool if it does!!! Maybe they'll let you release it; what fun that would be!

No, none of the Varied Thrush yet but I am hoping to count them for PFW this weekend :-)

Beverly: I hope he makes it too.
Hopefully his wing will heal.

I am not expecting anything but it would be really cool if I could release him back into my yard if he heals!
