Here are some pictures from our trip to Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge back in September.

We started here at the new nature center, (which they did a very good job on) and then went on the trail.

This turned out as a nice picture of the river.

On our way back to the car we stumbled upon this little guy.

HaHa its good to have a hybrid in Oregon.
Bird list for that day:
- Western Scrub Jay
- Stellers Jay
- Black Capped Chickadee
- Red Breasted Nuthatch
- Canada Geese
- American Goldfinch
- Mystery Bird
- Red Tailed Hawk
- Bewick's Wren.

I haven't been back there since they built the nature center. Did they have a nice store? "Mystery bird", what?? *you* the winner of the GBC of October had a mystery bird? ;)Did you count yet for project feeder watch? I posted my birds on my Bird List blog. You can check it out if you look on the sidebar.
Yes, they had a very cool store! When you have time you should go there and check it out!!
My mom saw the mystery bird and asked what it was but by the time I looked to see what it was it had already darted back in the trees so I never really got a good look at it, so I just have to call it a Mystery Bird :-)
I just got done counting for Feeder Watch and I will put my list up on the front page right now.
P.S. I need to make another trip to the Backyard Bird Shop soon for, (already) more suet.
Bye for now.
